Sail Structures is a Cairns-based specialist in architectural shade sails and tensile membrane structures, serving education, government and commercial clients across Far North Queensland.
We started out in yacht sailmaking alongside Port Douglas Sailmakers in 1988, before moving into tensioned fabric architectural membranes. That sailmaking background still shows in the way every structure is engineered today.
We believe in engineering integrity and lasting quality, backed by QBCC licensing and membership with the Master Builders Association, the Shade and Tensile Association and the LSAA. As part of the national Sail Structures Australia network, we deliver projects Queensland-wide, interstate and internationally.
