Rockhampton Special School

A 300m² hard roof gable shelter installed over an active special school playground for the Department of Education and Training, Rockhampton. The shelter was built in hot dipped galvanised steel while existing playground equipment remained fully operational throughout construction. Watkins Martin Munro Conservatory

Specialised shade fabrics installed for Cairns Regional Council to optimise growing conditions at the Watkins Martin Munro Conservatory. Stage one used Monotec 370 (90% UV-R protection) across the plant collection, earning a Special Commendation from the Specialised Textiles Association. Stage two added Monotec 210 (70% UV-R protection) in select areas for more sensitive specimens.

Tobruk Pool Gym

A 15m x 15m radial conical structure for Belgravia Leisure Group, designed to convert between an enclosed and open-air gymnasium. Built in Mehler FR700 Nano membrane on hot dipped galvanised steel, with 16 crank handle outlook mesh blinds for airflow and weather protection. A telescopic centre column allows the membrane to be removed for maintenance.

TAFE Thursday Island

A conical tensile membrane structure sheltering the outdoor amphitheatre at TAFE Thursday Island, built for Matt Birney Builders and QBuild. Delivered in Mehler FR700 Nano membrane with painted posts, engineered with JMC Architects and Wright Outcomes for tropical climate conditions in a remote location.

Oaks Resort, Port Douglas

Two custom shade structures for the pool and cafe areas at Oaks Resort, Port Douglas, navigating tight access constraints and existing utilities. Engineered by Wright Outcomes in Titanium Monotec 370, offering excellent amenity without intruding on the resort’s tropical feel.

Mareeba IGA Carpark

A 90 bay cantilever shade structure for Tallast Pty Ltd on the Atherton Tablelands, comprising two single and two double bay sections engineered by Wright Outcomes. Built in graphite Monotec 370 (90% UV-R protection) for striking contrast against the galvanised steel frame.
